A creative director has advised women not to assume they are the cause when they are unable to have children. Wendy, a fashion ambassador, posted her story on Instagram as part of efforts to raise awareness about infertility.
Wendy said she spent 11 years being described as barren before her husband at the time sought medical treatment and she conceived. She said she welcomed a son and then left that marriage soon afterward. She later remarried in 2023, and she said she became pregnant in under six months with her new husband.
In her post, she said people had claimed she could not have a child while the real issue was her former partner's scrotum. She encouraged women to reject the idea that they are the problem, to stop enabling poor treatment, and to prioritize themselves.
