Nigerian Groom Calls Off Nuptials 12 Days Ahead of Event

A Nigerian man, Illiya Ubin, has called off his wedding to Precious John Galumje. The ceremony had been scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2026, in Jalingo, Taraba State. Bitru Ivo Enga, a relative, announced the cancellation in a public Facebook notice on Monday, September 21, 2026. Enga said the groom, Ubin, was responsible for the decision to cancel. The notice apologized for any inconvenience the cancellation might cause and said additional details would be shared at a later time.
