Apostle Sam Adegoke Pamilerin, who leads Elijah Generation Church, has issued a public apology to women with whom he had sexual relationships before he married his wife.
The pastor, widely known as Mobile-Fire, said he had stepped away from public ministry and social media in recent weeks to reflect, seek guidance, and address matters from his past.
In a statement, he acknowledged that while the relationships occurred before his marriage, his actions were still wrong and did not meet the standards of holiness, integrity, and self-control expected of a Christian minister. He apologized to the women involved for any hurt or harm he may have caused, and also apologized to his wife, family, church, colleagues, and those who had trusted him as a spiritual leader.
“I am not making excuses for what happened or seeking to minimise it because it occurred before my marriage,” he said.
He added that he has been seeking God, receiving counsel from pastoral sources and professionals, and taking steps toward repentance and accountability. He also said he understands that true repentance should be shown through changed conduct and accountability, and that he is prepared to accept the consequences of his actions.
He asked for prayers, saying he wants the humility and courage to face his past honestly, make amends where appropriate, and allow God to bring about genuine transformation in his life.
