Houthis Strike Saudi Capital Riyadh With Missiles And Drones
Yemen's Iran-backed Houthi rebels have carried out missile and drone attacks on the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
Eyewitnesses reported loud explosions overnight and a huge plume of black smoke was seen rising near Riyadh's main international airport.
The strike has heightened tension in the region. The U.S. State Department has issued a security alert, warning American citizens of possible flight cancellations and airspace closures.
Neighboring countries in the Middle East have also condemned the attack.
