Ukraine has launched its largest ever drone strike on the Moscow region, according to reports from Reuters.
The Mayor of Moscow confirmed that hundreds of drones were shot down overnight in a massive aerial barrage.
The attack happened on the final day of Russia's parliamentary elections. Russian officials also say the voting system came under heavy cyberattacks at the same time, linking the escalation to the election day.
