Activist Raises Alarm Over Voter Card Revalidation Ahead of Elections

A Nigerian activist has cried out to draw the attention of Nigerians to a troubling development involving INEC, the Independent National Electoral Commission, and other organizations responsible for voter cards.

According to the activist, these bodies are asking citizens to revalidate their voter cards, even though the cards are officially described as permanent. This revalidation exercise is being pushed at a time when the general election is said to be very close.

The activist alleges that the timing and nature of this exercise suggest a hidden agenda. In her view, the intended purpose of the revalidation is to favour the current political party in power in Nigeria.
