Burna Boy will be included in Grand Theft Auto VI, the upcoming video game from Rockstar Games, as part of an international roster of musicians chosen to present in-game radio stations. The Nigerian performer is set to co-host AfroBank FM with German DJ and producer Palms Trax, introducing African music to the game. In GTA 6, he will take on the role of a radio personality called Burna.
This is not his first connection to the series. He previously contributed to GTA V's iFruit Radio with the track Killin Dem, featuring Zlatan, and his song Gettin' Money appeared in the Cayo Perico update for GTA Online.
Burna Boy is one of several global artists recruited to host stations in the game. Others include Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny, American singer Lana Del Rey, country musician Morgan Wallen, Swedish pop star Robyn, rapper Trick Daddy, and rapper Trina. Kerry King and Tom Araya of the heavy metal band Slayer will also host a station.
AfroBank FM is set to showcase music from throughout the continent, covering 20th-century classics, lesser-known tracks, amapiano, 3-step, and other styles. For Burna Boy, the announcement represents another significant step in his international career.
Developed by Rockstar Games, Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
