Tobi Adegboyega to online critics: Report claims to police or court, or stop talking

Popular celebrity pastor Tobi Adegboyega has answered people who have been calling out him and members of his church on social media. In a video posted online, the pastor said he normally does not reply to public criticism because he does not regard most of the complaints as serious enough to need a response. He said he chose to speak this time after some of his friends became worried about the allegations being circulated online. Addressing those who say members of his church have done something wrong, Adegboyega said they should report the matters to the police or bring them to court instead of discussing them on social media. He also criticized people who, according to him, use his name to draw attention while showing documents and making accusations online. Adegboyega said he would be pleased to see anyone who had genuinely committed an offense handled by the proper authorities, but asked why some of those making the allegations online had not reported the matters to the police.
