Speed Darlington, a Nigerian internet personality and musician, has disclosed the uncommon conditions he wants a personal assistant who will also work as his house help to meet. In a video shared online, he said he wants a person who thinks the way he does and is basically a reflection of him. He stated that the applicant must be below 25, with a preference for someone aged 20 to 24. The person should not be married or have children. He also wants the applicant to possess a NIN and a driver's licence, adding that the ability to drive would be an advantage. Darlington said he would rather have a soft boy with smooth skin than someone with a tough look. He clarified that he is not looking for a bodyguard, but wants a person who can be gallant when required. He added that the person should be willing to help him if he gets into a serious fight, saying he wants someone who would stand by him. The successful applicant would help with housework after shows and would be paid 100,000. Darlington also expressed frustration about how hard it has been to find a suitable person. He claimed that some people he contacted for interviews did not show up after arrangements were made with him. He recalled that one prospective applicant allegedly said he could not find the hotel where they were to meet for an interview, which left him angry after he had stopped looking for other candidates. Darlington said he is still searching for someone interested in the 100,000-per-month position and urged only serious applicants to contact him.
